Jared Himes is a native of Columbus, Ohio. Before entering the recruiting field, he graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York and enjoyed a career in culinary arts. He then transitioned into outside sales, a path that ultimately led to a successful career in full-cycle recruiting. Jared’s recruiting experience over the past twelve years spans multiple areas of the healthcare sector. He believes that the most rewarding part of his job is placing the right talent with the right organization because this is a way to truly impact lives in a positive way.

What is the coolest job (besides this one) that you have ever had?
I had an externship during culinary school at Red Sage, a restaurant in Washington D.C., two blocks from the White House. I had the opportunity to cook for some significant people like Rosa Parks, Richard Branson, and Bob Dole, to name a few.
Tell something interesting about your family that people don’t often know?
My stepfather was drafted by the Chicago Cubs.
