About

Mike Dillon is an Executive Recruiter with over 8 years of recruiting experience as both an individual contributor and team leader. Prior to joining ESS, Mike primarily focused on placing accounting, finance, human resources, and operations candidates with some of the top companies in Columbus, OH and Baltimore, MD. Mike is committed to working with both clients and candidates to find the best solutions for their needs.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Mike moved to Columbus in 2016 with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, you can find him hiking through one of Columbus’ beautiful Metro Parks with his family, working on a DIY project around the house, or (most likely) on the golf course.

Fun Facts

When an opportunity presents itself, take it.

When I need a pick-me-up, I will find a way to get out of the office for an hour. I like to go outside to eat lunch, run an errand, or even go to the golf course and practice at the driving range.

Outside of work I enjoy a lot of different hobbies. My favorites include relaxing with my family, coaching my daughter’s softball team, and playing golf. But I also DIY projects around the house, learning to play the guitar (work in progress), and reading.

There are a lot of great things about ESS. However, one consistently comes to mind when I get asked this question and I will always have the same answer. At ESS, the leadership team treat us as professionals. We are given the resources and flexibility to be successful in our jobs.
