Welcome

We hope you and your family had a great holiday season. We were able to spend time with our families and energize in anticipation of a great 2026. It’s only the second week but we have already experienced our clients coming full speed out of the gate to hire new talent. In fact, we have more new jobs in the first two weeks this year than we have had in any of the last three years. More companies than normal have reached out over the last two weeks to begin recruiting for roles, which is a great sign for people in the job market.

We have also started to see more consulting opportunities so if your department or company needs consulting help, please let me know. We have a couple of options if you decide you would like a consultant. One, the individual can be a 1099 contractor assuming they have the necessary paperwork, and then they would withhold all their taxes themself. The second option is to use one of our payroll partners. In this scenario, the consultant would be paid as an employee of the payroll company. This option often comes with benefits and makes it easy to work anywhere in the country.
