Dan Russ is an Executive Recruiter and has close to a decade of recruiting experience. Prior to ESS, Dan spent seven years at a large staffing agency where he moved from recruiting and sales into a market leadership role. Originally from Louisville, KY, Dan attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH where he was a student-athlete and received his BA in Communication. After graduation, Dan’s love for basketball led him to play professionally for a couple years in Europe and then transition into an assistant collegiate coach. His athletic recruitment focus made for a seamless transition in to the staffing industry in 2011.

Dan is extremely motivated by solving his clients organizational initiatives in locating and attracting talent, and likewise enjoys the “hunt” in the competitive candidate pool. While away from work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, and additionally stays busy with playing golf and enjoying local basketball events.
