Welcome

The unemployment rate for May rose to 4%, but in our view, we think the true rate is higher, and will be reflected in the next few months. Through our contact with other recruiting firms who work in varied industries, everyone is experiencing similar market conditions with fewer openings and employers slower to hire.

One of the things we are starting to notice is a pay disparity between remote, hybrid, and full-time in the office. This will continue to play out over the next couple of years and we hope it does not impact the wage gap from the progress that was being made. The challenge now is employees can openly state how much and how they want to work and it’s up to employers to decide if they are okay with this. Some employers are and some are not.

We would love to hear from you about how your company is evolving each position structure and if they established a specific work plan for all employees. However a company decides, will ultimately impact the type of worker they attract. This will be interesting to watch over the next couple of years.
