Welcome
Unemployment numbers were released recently, and the rate last month rose to 4.3%. In our opinion, it will go higher in the next couple of months.
As employers, something to keep an eye on is what other companies will do in terms of requiring people to come to the office. Will the rising unemployment rates and larger applicant pool allow employers to require people back in the office or with a hybrid schedule? Each company will respond differently but overall, across all industries more and more companies are requiring people back in the office to some degree. There will be a pocket of employers who remain committed to a fully remote or hybrid schedule and those companies may have a long-term competitive advantage when it comes to recruiting for certain skillsets.
Has your company changed its philosophy? If so, how? Where do you see the next changes happening within your company.
